Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using PlatePuls, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Not Medical Advice

PlatePuls is an informational tool only. It is NOT a medical device, does NOT provide medical advice or diagnosis, and is NOT a substitute for professional healthcare. AI-generated nutritional estimates may be inaccurate. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making health decisions.

3. Your Account

  • You must be 16 or older to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You may not share your account with others.
  • You may not use the service to store or process data of others without their consent.

4. Share Links

When you generate a share link or token, you grant anyone with that link read access to the linked report for the link's duration (default 30 days). You are responsible for deciding who to share links with. Revoke links immediately if shared in error.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' privacy.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
  • Use the service to process health data of third parties without consent.
  • Misrepresent AI-generated reports as certified medical assessments.

6. Intellectual Property

PlatePuls and its software are owned by Somlok Solutions. You retain ownership of the health data you enter. You grant us a limited license to process that data to provide the service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that nutritional estimates, health scores, or AI observations are accurate, complete, or suitable for clinical use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlatePuls and Somlok Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated nutritional information.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Changes

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
